San Diego, Calif. – January 14, 2026 — ObjectSecurity today announced that it has been awarded a five-year contract by the U.S. Navy’s Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) for a license of its BinLens® Binary Analysis Platform.
The award was made on a sole-source basis, reflecting NAWCAD’s determination that BinLens uniquely meets its mission requirements for assessing the security and operational risk of mission software.
Under the contract, ObjectSecurity will provide BinLens software licensing along with deployable virtual machine images, containerized deployments (Docker and Kubernetes), installation and configuration support, and ongoing software updates to support operational and cybersecurity missions.

The BinLens platform was developed and matured through a combination of Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program funding—including efforts sponsored by the U.S. Navy, DARPA, the U.S. Army, DTRA, and other government partners—along with ObjectSecurity’s internal research and development and investment.
“This award demonstrates what the SBIR program is designed to achieve—enabling the development of deep, technically rigorous innovation and successfully transitioning it into operational use,” said Ulrich Lang, CEO of ObjectSecurity. “It also reflects our team’s ability to produce advanced research, harden it for real-world conditions, and deliver capabilities that can be fielded and sustained in mission-critical environments.”
About BinLens — Binary Assurance Beyond Traditional Approaches
BinLens is ObjectSecurity’s advanced platform for analyzing compiled software and firmware to uncover security and operational risk that is not visible through traditional testing, scanning, or compliance-driven approaches. By operating directly on executable code, BinLens enables organizations to assess how software actually behaves after it is built and deployed.

The platform performs deep, program-level analysis using symbolic execution and binary inspection techniques to systematically explore execution paths and identify exploitable vulnerabilities, unsafe conditions, and hidden behaviors. This post-build perspective allows BinLens to surface high-impact issues that may persist even when other tools report clean results, delivering deterministic, evidence-backed findings suitable for mission-critical environments, acquisition decisions, and long-term system sustainment.
About ObjectSecurity
ObjectSecurity LLC delivers advanced software and AI assurance technologies for defense, aerospace, and critical infrastructure systems. With more than 20 years of experience supporting U.S. defense and federal agencies, the company focuses on identifying and mitigating risk across complex, software-reliant systems where failure or compromise carries high consequences.
In addition to binary software assurance, ObjectSecurity supports government and industrial customers with signals characterization capabilities across 5G, wireless, and satellite communications environments, including the detection and analysis of interference, jamming, and anomalous signal behavior. These capabilities complement the company’s software assurance work by addressing risks across both digital and electromagnetic domains.
ObjectSecurity solutions are available to government customers through multiple acquisition pathways, including DoD software platforms and marketplaces, Tradewinds, and SBIR Phase III, enabling rapid transition from innovation to operational deployment.
