ObjectSecurity’s BinLens™ software vulnerability analysis platform has been accepted into the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Rapid Capabilities Office (RCO) Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) Hopper following a competitive technical evaluation and pitch.

ObjectSecurity proposed BinLens under CSO N65236-26-S-0001, Area of Interest (AOI) 26-A010: Tactical Networks Software Defined Networking (SDN) Transport Solution. NIWC Atlantic determined the proposed solution to be technically viable and moved it into the RCO CSO Hopper.

What Hopper placement means

The Hopper is a digital repository of solutions that have successfully progressed through the RCO CSO’s competitive evaluation process. These solutions are available to NIWC Atlantic customers and sponsors for consideration when mission requirements and funding align.

For BinLens, Hopper placement means the capability can be considered for a direct prototype Other Transaction (OT) award for up to 24 months following its pitch date, providing a streamlined acquisition path for interested government sponsors.

Placement in the Hopper is not itself a contract award. Rather, it means BinLens has completed the competitive technical evaluation and remains available for sponsors seeking capabilities relevant to their requirements.

Supporting cyber resilience in Navy software

AOI 26-A010 focuses on improving cyber resilience for Software Defined Networking infrastructure supporting Department of the Navy afloat and ashore environments, including cyber-hardening an SDN prototype and supporting its deployment.

BinLens is designed to uncover software vulnerabilities that conventional vulnerability-management approaches can miss. It combines automated static and symbolic analysis, disassembly and decompilation, and agentic AI workflows to investigate binaries and source code and produce evidence-backed results for vulnerability identification and prioritization.

BinLens can operate fully offline and air-gapped, making it suitable for sensitive defense and mission environments.

The RCO Hopper adds another path for Navy organizations to evaluate and potentially acquire BinLens for software assurance and cyber-hardening requirements.

ObjectSecurity already supports the Navy through multiple software-assurance efforts, including a five-year U.S. Navy NAWCAD BinLens fielding effort announced earlier this year.
