ObjectSecurity is proud to be featured in Gartner research examining “Coolest Vendor Innovations in Securing AI.” We believe our inclusion highlights a growing need for security technologies that can provide deeper, more defensible evidence about the software and AI systems organizations increasingly depend on.
For ObjectSecurity, that means looking beyond surface-level detection. Modern security teams already have access to tools capable of generating enormous numbers of alerts and potential vulnerabilities. The harder problem is determining which findings actually matter, understanding the behavior that creates the risk, and giving analysts enough evidence to make confident decisions.
That challenge is at the center of our work across both traditional software and artificial intelligence.
Going Deeper Into Software Behavior
BinLens™ was developed to help security teams understand what is happening inside software—even when source code is unavailable.
Instead of treating every suspicious pattern as an equally important finding, BinLens uses advanced program analysis techniques to investigate how software actually behaves. Its analysis can follow execution paths through an application, examine relationships between functions and data, and determine the circumstances required for a vulnerability to occur.
This gives security teams something especially valuable: context.
Knowing that a potential weakness exists is useful. Knowing how execution reaches it, what inputs or conditions are required to trigger it, and whether the behavior can be reproduced gives defenders a much stronger basis for prioritizing remediation.
BinLens brings these capabilities to binaries, bytecode, and source code and can support environments ranging from enterprise software to embedded systems, operational technology (OT), and industrial control systems (ICS).
Making Advanced Analysis Easier to Use
Deep software analysis has traditionally required experienced reverse engineers and significant amounts of manual investigation. ObjectSecurity is working to make these capabilities more accessible without replacing rigorous analysis with AI-generated conclusions.
A conversational interface allows analysts to interact with BinLens and its collection of specialized analysis capabilities using natural language. Users can investigate a finding, ask how a vulnerable path is reached, explore the significance of specific program behavior, and evaluate potential remediation strategies.
Behind that experience is an orchestration architecture in which AI helps coordinate purpose-built security analysis rather than attempting to replace it.
BinLens can bring together vulnerability analysis, control-flow analysis, cryptographic analysis, and other specialized capabilities while also connecting with external tools and systems. This enables organizations to build automated security workflows around validated technical evidence while reducing the amount of manual investigation required from their teams.
Applying the Same Philosophy to AI Security
AI introduces a similar visibility problem.
Organizations can evaluate an AI model’s outputs, run benchmarks, or attempt adversarial prompts, but those tests do not necessarily explain what is happening within the model itself.
FortiLayer™ approaches AI security from the inside.
Through white-box analysis, FortiLayer examines the internal structure and behavior of AI models at multiple levels of abstraction. This provides security and AI teams with additional visibility into where weaknesses originate and how different parts of a model contribute to its behavior.
That visibility can help uncover issues such as adversarial susceptibility, overfitting, and unnecessary model complexity while supporting security testing, model remediation, and governance activities.
FortiLayer is also designed to connect technical findings with broader risk and compliance requirements. This helps organizations incorporate security assurance into existing AI development and MLOps processes rather than treating AI security as a separate activity performed only after deployment.
Building Evidence, Not Just Generating Alerts
BinLens and FortiLayer address different technology domains, but they are built around the same principle:
Security decisions should be supported by evidence about how a system actually behaves.
For software, that means going beyond a list of suspected vulnerabilities to understand execution paths and triggering conditions.
For AI, it means going beyond output testing to examine the internal characteristics that influence model behavior and resilience.
As software supply chains become more complex and AI becomes embedded in increasingly important systems, organizations need ways to investigate these technologies at a deeper level without making every analysis dependent on scarce specialist expertise.
We believe ObjectSecurity’s inclusion in Gartner research on “Coolest Vendor Innovations in Securing AI” reflects the increasing importance of this approach.
What’s Next
ObjectSecurity has spent years developing advanced security technologies through research and work supporting high-assurance environments, including U.S. Department of Defense programs. Our focus now is on making those capabilities practical for a broader range of organizations.
We will continue advancing BinLens and FortiLayer with greater automation, easier integration into existing development and security workflows, and tools that help technical teams turn complex analysis into actionable decisions.
Whether the challenge is an unknown vulnerability hidden inside compiled software or a weakness buried deep within an AI model, our goal remains the same:
Help organizations understand what is happening inside the systems they trust—and give them the evidence they need to secure them.
